Sara Alonso on tour
In Gipuzkoa, wherever you look, nature is all around. And we wanted to share that with the entire world. To do so, we proposed to its Department of Tourism to collaborate with Sara Alonso (Donostia, 1999), one of the best trail runners at the international level, to explore Gipuzkoa in a unique and different way. For this, we created a six-episode series in which she reveals where to eat, swim, enjoy sports activities… all while wearing her running shoes. We start with her second home, Zegama, recalling the famous race, and from there, she continues trotting to authentic places like Tolosa, Zarautz, Orio, and Oñati. Additionally, as a true Donostiarra, we celebrate with her one of the city’s most special days: Santo Tomás.
